After the human's created a weapon to fight a natural part of evolution, mutants, this part of the population suffered a massive blow. Yes, the cure. Human believed themselves at the top of the web of life, dominating everything beneath them, and everything different than the 'perfect' species. Cries have been heard in the mutant community for fairness and justice against the crimes the humans have commited. This is a very passive action, and some mutants, prefer violence to words. A group of mutants, Known only by a single alias: The Renegades. And they have a plan to make mutants heard and respected.
The X-men are going strong acting as a barrier between the humans and the rest of mutnat kind. They risk everything to save those weaker than they, and are starting to lose their footing in the war of mutants.
The Brotherhood on the other hand, are thriving, fulled by mutants urging to destroy humans once and for all. Their numbers swell almost everyday, and the only thing that stands in their way is those mutants possessed by misguided beliefs.
