Life wasn't going to well for Lucy. Her parent's were getting a divorce and to make matter's worse she hadn't seen her boyfriend in forever. She missed Keith like crazy and she was ready to keep her promise about dragging him back to her, but it wasn't working out so well because, well, Lucy had no idea where the boy that made her weak in the knees was.
Lucy sighed and stuffed her hands in her pockets. It was a cold day and she knew not alot of people would be out at the lake in fear of getting pneumonia or just a simple cold. Lucy no longer cared at this point.
She shook her hair from her eyes, leaning up against a tree and sliding down to the ground. She hugged her knees to her chest, feeling her phone vibrate in her pocket, but she was too deep in thought to get it out and read what someone sent her. She finally rolled her eyes, getting her phone out of her jeans pocket. She looked at the message for about ten minutes before actually replying. It was her cousin Jenn, nobody special.
She thought for a moment, scrolling down her contacts, randomly landing on Keith. She tilted her head, she hadn't bothered texting him in fear that he wouldn't text back and that would just make her feel rejected and helpless, she hated that feeling.
hey. if you get this. meet me at the lake kay? i miss you.
Lucy wasn't sure Keith would get this but it was worth a try right?
