WHEN i'M HOME ALONE;; How would you describe a young man on a late Saturday morning? Refreshed is the word you were probably looking for. Well, if were looking for the word to describe Ryan, you would be correct. Just something about a lovely day like this one, it just made all his problems go away, if he had any problems anyway.
Ryan was in deep like with a girl. Hannah. Yes, he was starting fall hard for her, but he was trying to hide his feelings, he didn't want to get hurt anymore, it just wasn't worth it anymore. But Hannah seemed different than the other party whores, she seemed...calm, collected, cool. Suave was more the word to describe Ryan's latest obsession.
Starbucks, Ryan wasn't very big on Starbucks for three main reasons: Expensive; Always Crowded; and the main clerk dude tried to get with Ryan's twin sister, Jessika so he had to beat the shit out of the guy, he just didn't want anymore trouble with the guy, so he just went to La Vida instead, it was closer anyways.
Ryan paid for his coffee and gave the girl-who looked rather bored-a small smile. He sat down at a small table in the corner, putting the side of his face in the palm of his hand which connected to his elbow, which was on the table.

The morning had been fair. Was that the right word? More like decent, if that was any better... It wasn't good enough yet to be called brilliant or fantastic in the least, though. Of course, yet is emphasized. But who really knew what could happen? It was a possibility that moment where her day took a turn for the better would never come. It was also a possibility that her day would take a sharp turn for the worst, like it did on the random occasional school day. And of course, there was always the likely possibility that her day would remain decent. Nothing more, nothing less.
The pink-haired former mississippian was looking in her mirror, trying to decide whether or not she was satisfied with her appearance. She didn't care too much because, after all, how much could she do without her coffee in the morning? Sometimes she felt like an adult with her hopeless addiction to the hot, bitter yet somehow sweet drink that seemed to give her so much energy. But anyway, she had thrown on a pair of tight, lightly and intentionally torn peg leg jeans, and afterwards slipped on some black converse, looking unique as they could with all the doodles on them from when Dani got bored in class. As for her top, she wore a bright pink spaghetti-strap tank top that was just visible at the chest and obviously on the shoulders under a black tube top that had an underoath logo - it was one of the few screamo bands she couldn't stop listening to - on it with a dripping pink 'x' above it. Hung comfortably on her hips was a pyramid studded belt with pink leather than matched both the tank top and the 'x on the tube top. Lastly, around her neck hung a pink heart with a crack running halfway up the middle on a tiny silver chain.
Satisfied with her appearance only when she perfected her dramatic eye makeup, Dani Bliss finally left the bathroom of the upper floor of her house to make her way to the cafe she had come to love for their coffee. Out the door she went, leaving her car keys that she very rarely even used but not forgetting a small, thin black jacket that was only enough to trick her mind into thinking she would be warmer with it on. She chose to walk rather than drive, even if it did take some time, and finally when she came to the doors of the La Vida Cafe, her usually ghostly pale face was noticeably red from the cold.
The petite girl slipped out of the ridiculously thin piece of clothing that was her jacket and held it in one hand as she waited in a very short line - consisting of only one waiting customer, the other just leaving the counter with their order - and scanned the room having already decided on the way there what she would be having. There weren't very many people that looked half-way interesting, and none who seemed to be interested in her from what she could detect. However, there was a boy about her age sitting by his lonesome at one of the small tables. He was mighty attractive, she'd give him that much, but she wasn't the kind of girl to obsess over just some random guy, especially lately. She had promised herself she was done with the dating scene for now. She was on hiatus, you could say, and if there was any ounce of interest left in her for the boy after she automatically reminded herself of this, it definitely wasn't a sexual interest. He did look plainly interesting, though, for reasons she wasn't exactly sure of in her own mind.
Then it hit her, like a big answer to a test miraculously popped into the mind a blonde. He went to her school. She had seen him around in the halls a few times.
Dani was unsure whether her unintentional staring had caused him to look up at her, because from where she was standing she couldn't tell where his eyes were. None the less, she gave a tiny, friendly smile in his direction. Then, her attention being brought back to the girl working at the counter when she asked, "May I help you... ?" Her tone of voice made it even more clear that Dani had been zoning out a bit, and had just been standing there a few good feet from the counter.
"Yes, please." she responded quickly, stepping up to order. "I'd like a grande coffee, please." she said.
"Would you like cream and sugar with that?"
"Yes, please." She supposed she was saying please so much to make up for making the girl wait on her to zone in again, not that the girl likely had much else to do. When handed her coffee, she turned to sit at an empty table, thanking the girl from behind as she walked. She decided to wait a short while before starting to sip cautiously at her coffee due to the scalding heat of it. While she waited for it to cool, she passed yet another glance to the guy across the room, wondering if he had been staring right back at her when she had zoned out a bit.
[ meep. it's a bit long, isn't it? ... o.o; i got carried away. ]

BABY, SEASONS CHANGE;; Ryan wasn't really big on staring at random people, especially when they were staring at him first-he was exceptionally self confident and had no idea why alot of girls thought he was cute, in his little world, he was an ugly duckling.-but when he felt eyes on him, he had to look up at the pink-haired girl that stood out like a sore thumb.
He gave his head a shake, looking down at the table again, his hair falling in his brown eyes-a clear sign that he was a Parker.-. He quickly pushed the loose hair from his eyes, if he hated anything more than awkward silences, it was his dumb brown hair in his stupid light brown eyes.
He wasn't sure what more there was left to do. He was sure the girl had caught herself and told herself that he was just some random long-haired kid drinking coffee in the corner of the room, that he wasn't worth her breath.
Just thinking this made Ryan feel even worse about himself. He never really thought of himself worth anyone's sweet time...he was just Ryan, boring old Ryan. BUT PEOPLE DON'T. [Mine's a short piece of crap.]
