Ding. Dong.
The bells from the church, showing all the citizens it was noon, rang it Mark's ears. Why, might you ask, wasn't Mark in church, like normal people in Carlem on a Sunday afternoon. He didn't feel like it. It was a sucky excuse, but, hey, it worked. Mark stuffed his hands in his pockets, leaning up against the brick wall of the store next to the church. The name of the store escaped his mind, but, what did that matter anyways?

Erin Killen walked out of her church. She waved goodbye to her father, but not to Yasmin. She gave her a dirty glare and under her breath she said "Whore." She wore a Zac Posen dress and a Nina Ricci trench coat and Giuseppe Zanotti black peep toe heels. She adjusted her purse and fiddled with her new 'J' necklace she just brought herself yesterday. J was for Justin of course. She was happy they got together finally. She fished in her Louis Vuitton bowler bag for her iPhone to call Reb.

Mark raised an eyebrow as he saw some people file out of the church. It was over already? He gave a shrug, he was a believer and all, but he didn't go to church regularly like he should. He raised an eyebrow, seeing Erin walk out of the church in her cute little dress. They were friends, but she didn't look like she wanted to be disturbed, as of she was on the phone.

Erin searched and dug for her phone. "Damnit." Erin muttered. The priest walked by and glared at her. "Sorry Dr. Bryan, I mean Dang it." She said turning a slight shade of pink. Well screw it she didn't really need it any way. She looked to her left and saw Mark. One of her friends. He was cute, but she didn't want to screw things up with Justin. She decided to go over and say hi anyways. She walked over to him, her heels clacking behind her. "Heyy Mark!" She said and kissed his cheek. She gave kisses on the cheek to her guy friends and hugs to her girl friends. Just her way of saying hey.

"Hey," Mark said, flashing her a grin. He looked up at the church before looking down at her. "Have fun at church?" He asked, raising an eyebrow slyly, crossing his arms, waiting for her reply.

Erin smiled at him. "Oh tons, but I love God, so you know." Erin said and flipped a piece of hair back and did twirled her 'J' necklace around her french manicured finger carelessly. "What are you doing hanging out right next to church? Trying to pick up girls or something?" She teased and nudged him slightly.

Mark kept a straight face as he nodded solomnly. "Yup. I love me some Sunday School Girls," He said, trying his hardest not to smile. He noticed her twirling the necklace, "So who you with now?" He asked, raising an eyebrow as he spoke.

Erin laughed as he was talking about Sunday School girls. That Mark, always the smooth one. She blushed a little when he said about who she was dating. She didn't even notice that she was playing with the necklace. It just kinda a habit with her. She love twirling necklaces. She untwined her finger with the necklace. "Oh. It's Justin Goss. We've been on and off forever." She giggled a bit.

Mark gave a soft nod as she said she was dating Justin. He, personally, never really cared for Justin, he was always hurting Erin and Amrk kind of liked her, just a little of course.

Erin sighed as Mark was unresponsive. Yeah maybe alot of guys didn't like Justin. Probably because he had Erin, or maybe he used to hurt Erin alot. But Justin promised this time he wouldn't, and they would be together for a long time. She cocked her head to the side. "What? You don't like him?" She said.

Mark gave a shrug but cracked a smile, she was cute when she tilted her head. "Well. I can't say I like him, but I can't say I don't," He gave another shrug, "I don't know him very well,"

Erin frowned a little. Mark didn't like him. Oh well, all that matter is that she loved him. Erin returned her to its upright position. "I think you're jealous." Erin teased. Erin giggled a minute, then stopped. "Cause that's like other way of saying you don't like him." Erin said. She understood the boy's mind very cleary since she had been dealing with the opposite sex's mind since she was 8.

Mark tilted his head at well. He might as well play along right? He nodded, "Yeah. I am secretly in love with you," He had to smile to show her that he was kidding, that would have been embarrassing if she believed him.

Erin giggled when he said he was in love with her. Old news to her. Every male in the whole school was in "love" with here. Well mainly just lust. But, she knew he was kidding. "Psh, babe. Who wouldn't be with these legs?" She smiled and turned her legs a bit to show him. She did have amazing lean legs, thanks to tennis, volleyball, and cheerleading. She also had a great smile too. She just had a great body.

Mark rolled her eyes, placing his hand on his hip, balancing his weight on one foot, making himself look gay. "You know when you show me your legs my gay tendancies spill out," He said, tapping his foot and faking fluster.
