Lucy never liked Mr. Gath much, he cheated on his wife with a much younger woman and continued to lie to her until she caught them in the act. Lucy couldn't ever be nice to a person who cheated, they just weren't worth it.
It was around seven thirty in the evening and Lucy was bored at home. So she put on her jacket, grabbed her phone and drove her car to a random place, tonight, this place was Gregory Scotts. Her and her family were boycotting the restaurant because of what he did. The Gaths were very close to the Marks and it hurt Lucy's parents to see a dear friend hurt.
Lucy gave her head a soft shake as she sat down on a bench outside of the restaurant, she wasn't going to dishonor her family just because she was hungry.

Lane had nothing better to do, work was done, his friends who he lived with weren't home, and he hated being alone. So he decided to take his '56 Harley for a spin. This bike had been his grandfather's and was the only thing that he owned that could connect him with his family. What can I do tonight? thought Lane as he roared down the streets, Movies are lame and I'm hungry so food it is! He just laughed a little then sped off for a place he knew had some good food, Gregory Scott's. Lane parked his bike down the street so he could stretch his legs after his interesting ride, as he opened the door he thought he saw Lucy Marks out of the corner of his eye. "Lucy that you?" Asked Lane frozen in the door way like a statue.

Lucy rasied an eyebrow as she felt her phone vibrate in her pocket. She took it out, it wasa message from Keith. They talked all the time, usually over texting but it still mattered alot to Lucy. She shook her hair from her eyes, replying right away. She closed her phone after she was done and as soon as she heard her name called. She looked up to see who the caller of her name was.
"No," She replied in a rather bored voice, leaning her head back against the building. "I'm Eliza Lopez," She knew he knew who she was, but she couldn't help but act like a smartass whenever an obvious question was asked, it was just in her nature to do so.

"Well isn't that a kind hello." Lane still had feelings for Lucy but didn't want her to notice. "Why are you here? You don't seem to be eating." He walked over to the bench and looked down at he in a menacing way. Of all the people I had to run into it was Lucy...what the hell is with my bad luck today? As this thought crossed his mind Lane just smirked like the rich snob he was when he first met Lucy as a kid.

Lucy pulled out her phone once more. No New Messages. Keith was probably putting Caitlin to sleep, or he had gone to sleep himself, it was getting pretty lat. As she put her phone away, she looked at Lane with a raised eyebrow.
"I don't eat meat," She said in a tone that clearly hinted that he should have known this about her. "I'm just here cause I feel like being here," Okay, maybe Lane liked Lucy a little more than Lucy liked Lane.

"I know, but you never know you might change you mind." Lane let out a short laugh then looked up at the sky. "Your still mad at me aren't you?" He looked back down and scowled at her hoping to get to her.

Lucy set her pretty face in a scowl as he said this. Meat was disgusting and she hadn't eaten it since her seventh birthday. Yeah, nine years without meat, long time for someone who was addicted to eating innocent animals who did nothing to their murders.
"No," Lucy replied with a shake of her head, though anger penitrating her eyes. They broke up because he was a snobby little rich kid and he wouldn't change...not even for her. It wasn't like she was in love with him, but she really liked him.
That was why she liked Keith so much more. He payed attention to her and not to how he was going to spend his allowence money.

"I'm not the same kid you grew up with Lucy!" Lane was tired of her always making him feel like shit because of the way he used to act and who his family was, but none the less he still had feelings for her. "Even you know people don't choose the way they are raised." All he did for next few moments was stand there and glare at her beautiful face. What's up her ass? She is acting worse than I used to.

Lucy crossed her amrs stubbornly over her chest as she listened to him speak. "And how have you changed?" She asked, tilting her head, a smirk rising upon her lips.
As she awaited his retort, she glanced down at her phone, 'Dammit Keith," She muttered, sticking it back in her pocket. The one time he decides not to text her is when she needs him the most, typical.

"First off, I don't live with those aristocrats anymore I live with two of my friends in a small house," Lane's eyes became as slits when he said this, "second, I disowned myself from my family. Might I add I don't even drive an Audi or Lexus anymore I ride a damn Harley Knuckle-Head that was my grandfather's" At the thought of the only family member, other than his little sister, he still liked, his face turned back to showing less emotion and most people show at times like these.

Lucy threw her hands up like it was the biggest thing in the world. "Oh my freakin' gosh. You deserve a damn metal for changing that much," She rolled her eyes and leaned her head back, "Just because you don't live in the fast lane anymore doesn't mean you've changed a damn bit," She muttered in a low growl.

"So I'm not perfect like you little Kevin or what ever his name is!" Lane emotion now showed clear as day for everyone to see. He was hurt and didn't care who knew anymore. "You just don't get it do you? What ever when you understand call me my cell is still the same." At this Lane turned his back to her and with a quick look over his shoulder walked away toward his motorcycle. When he got to his Harley he just sat down on the seat, after a moment passed a single tear ran down his cheek. I still love her, why?
