caitlin's blue eyes watering used to be a problem for him too. especially because those eyes reminded him of holly and it just broke his heart to look into them every time. sometimes, they were still a problem and he found himself caving into cailtin's whim. he was trying to be stronger now, but she was his little princess, so it was hard to say no.

"that's all i ask. it'll be tough at first, but just try not to look into them. if you do, she'll have you in a second lucy." he warned her, holding caitlin's hand and watching as she coiled her tiny hand around one of his fingers, holding it tightly. she continued to chew on her bears ear and he glanced at the clock. "it's almost time to feed her, and then lay her down for her nap." he told her.

he sighed, biting down on his lip lightly. "actually lucy, i did expect that. i was so scared about telling you about her. i never tell anyone about caitlin. no one knows and i want to keep it that way." he said softly, hinting he didn't want her to tell anyone about his daughter either. he stared down at caitlin, who in turn smiled up at her daddy. "not just a lot, lucy. every one of them would. every one except you." he whispered and then leaned in over caitlin to kiss her once softly.

the baby kicked her legs against keith's chest, forcing him to pull away. "hey!" he told her, smiling. she still kicked her legs and keith grabbed a hold of her feet which made her giggle. he looked up at lucy. "she doesn't like when the attention's off her." he explained, the reasons behind caitlin's actions. the baby stared up innocently at them.

Lucy gave a nervous nod as he warned her of her pretty, big blue eyes. She wasn't sure she could be as strong as Keith, but she'd try. She gently handed Caitlin to Keith as he told her it was almost time for her nap. She stuck her hands deep in the pockets, looking down at the floor for a moment before she looked over at him.

Lucy shook her head gently as she spoke. "I couldn't ever do that Keith," She shrugged. "I probably wouldn't leave you there even if you had genital herpies," She wouldn't, though she would be cautious around him. "I'm not that mean," She added in a quiet voice.

Lucy laughed as Caitlin forced the two apart, it didn't bother her any, she actually thought it was funny. "I can tell," She said, grinning at Keith, "It's all cool though,"
